AnimalZone: A Noah’s Ark of Animals at Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary - Season 13, Episode 8
Saturday, March 29 at 8:30 AM on Cox Television’s National Network AnimalZone steps aboard the wildest ark this side of Las Vegas as we set sail at Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary—where the animals are rescued, the feathers are fabulous, and the team of volunteers never miss a beat.
Jennifer Langford, the watchful and wonderful Executive Director of this nearly eight-acre oasis, gives us a grand tour of the sanctuary she runs with the precision of a cruise director and the compassion of a Mother Goose. Under her stewardship, Gilcrease has become a home for an extraordinary cast of characters: chatty parrots, philosophical goats, glamorous peacocks, an 800 pound pig, cool-as-a-cucumber llamas, runway-ready emus, and one ostrich with undeniable passion for romaine salad!
And let’s not forget the true celebrity of the bunch—George The Duck—who was rescued from the Mirage Hotel’s pond and today his fame waddles far and wide.
Jennifer also introduces us to Ray Ray, the charming cockatiel who flutters into the role of ambassador with flair, chirping the good word about animal rescue and education.
Join us for laughs, love, and lots of squawking this Saturday on AnimalZone, where every animal has a story, and every story has a tail! For more about Gilcrease see: https://www.gilcrease.community/
