Founder Laurelee Blanchard traded her high heels from the SoCal real estate world for rubber boots and a heart full of aloha. Her farm is now home to more than 300 rescued animals — from chatty chickens and pampered pigs to serene swans, curious goats, cuddly guinea pigs, and even Henry the cat, who was discovered living in a rusty old car and now reigns as feline royalty.


Visitors can tour the lush, hibiscus-filled haven, where tortoises munch like zen gardeners and the cat lounge offers the ultimate in feline feng shui. Donations keep this animal utopia thriving, proving that kindness — like sunshine — grows best on Maui.
